The reserve sits on a wildlife corridor, so the animals come to you: squirrel monkeys, white-faced capuchins and howler monkeys move through the trees every day, toucans and scarlet macaws fly over the pool, and sloths rest in the branches you can see from your room.
Manuel Antonio National Park and the Manuel Antonio beaches, including Playa Espadilla, are just around the corner. Spend the morning in the park, the afternoon on the beach, and come back to more wildlife at the hotel.

Deluxe King Suite: a king bed and a private balcony, for couples or anyone travelling alone.
Master Suite: a treetop-height panoramic view of the jungle, a large bedroom with a king bed, a separate living room and a full kitchen. It can connect to the Double Queen Suite next door.
Grand Master Suite: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a full kitchen, with a 180° view from the Pacific to the rainforest. It sleeps up to 6, so it suits families, friends travelling together or a small wedding party.

Where is ECOTICA?
ECOTICA Boutique Hotel & Spa sits in its own 10-acre private rainforest reserve on the main road in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Manuel Antonio National Park and Playa Espadilla are just around the corner. The hotel is not on the beach itself.
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. Reception is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, breakfast is included. It is served at La POZA, our poolside restaurant and bar, from 6:00 to 10:00 am. La POZA is open every day from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Is there a gym?
Yes. Our gym is open every day from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Where can we eat and have a drink?
La POZA, our poolside restaurant and bar, is open every day from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. YOLO Social, our bar and restaurant, is open from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.
How do we get here from the airport?
We arrange private transfers between San José (SJO) and Manuel Antonio for US$195, for up to five people. For a larger group, contact us and we can arrange a custom transfer. Send your flight details through our airport transportation form.
Can we book Jungle Spa if we are not staying at ECOTICA?
Yes. Jungle Spa is open to everyone: massages, couples massage, facials, body treatments, manicure and pedicure.
Will we see wildlife at the hotel?
Very likely, though never guaranteed. Monkeys, sloths, toucans and scarlet macaws are part of daily life on the property. Early morning and sunset are the best times. Our wildlife guide tells you what to look for.
Is Manuel Antonio National Park open every day?
No. The park is closed on Tuesdays, and tickets are sold online only. Opening hours and tips are in our national park guide.
