ECOTICA has two kinds of rooms. The private bungalows sit on their own in the gardens, for guests who want quiet and a porch to themselves. The hotel suites have balconies, and some have room for families or a kitchen for longer stays. Both come with the rainforest right outside.
Hotel Suites
Four suite options:
Double Queen Suite: two queen beds and a private balcony, good for families or friends. Sleeps up to 4.
Deluxe King Suite: a king-size bed and a private balcony, for couples or solo travelers. Sleeps up to 3.
Master Suite: up at canopy height with a panoramic view, a king bedroom, a separate living room and a full kitchen. Sleeps up to 2.
Grand Master Suite: the Master Suite and the Double Queen Suite next door combined, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a full kitchen and a 270° view from the ocean to the rainforest. Sleeps up to 6.
Private Bungalows
Three types of private bungalow, each set apart in the gardens with its own porch:
Signature Bungalow: a king-size bed, a smart TV and plenty of privacy. There are six of them. Sleeps up to 2.
Premium Bungalow: everything in the Signature Bungalow plus a fully stocked kitchen. Sleeps up to 2.
Grand Bungalow: a Signature and a Premium Bungalow connected, with two king beds and two futons. Sleeps up to 4.
From the porch you hear the forest all day: birds in the morning, cicadas in the afternoon, frogs at night.
Find the Perfect Stay for You
Traveling as a family or with friends? The Double Queen Suites and the Grand Bungalow give everyone a bed. Couples and solo travelers usually pick a Deluxe King Suite or a Signature Bungalow. For longer stays, the Master Suite has a kitchen and living room, and the two-bedroom Grand Master Suite sleeps up to 6.
Signature Bungalow
The Signature Bungalow is a private little house in the gardens with a king-size bed and good linens. The porch has a sitting area where you can listen to the rainforest and watch for wildlife.

What is the difference between a bungalow and a suite?
Our bungalows are private little houses in the gardens, each with its own porch. The suites have a private balcony, and some have a kitchen or room for a family.
Which room is best for couples?

The rooms furthest from the road. Ask for one when you book and we will do our best to give you one.
How do we get around the property?
ECOTICA is set on a rainforest hillside, with garden paths and stairs between the rooms, and our team is happy to carry your luggage at check-in and check-out. One Signature Bungalow has a step-free route from the accessible parking.
What does every room have?
Air conditioning, a 50″ smart TV, free Wi-Fi, a safe, a private bathroom and daily housekeeping. Parking is free.
How many rooms does ECOTICA have?
17 rooms: 10 suites (six Double Queen Suites, three Deluxe King Suites and the Master Suite) and 7 private bungalows (six Signature Bungalows and the Premium Bungalow). The Grand Bungalow and the Grand Master Suite are two rooms booked together.
Which rooms have a kitchen?
The Premium Bungalow and the Master Suite have full kitchens, and so do the Grand Bungalow and the Grand Master Suite. The other rooms have a mini fridge and a coffee maker.
Which room has the best view?
The Master Suite and the Grand Master Suite, with a 270° panoramic view, half rainforest and half ocean. The Master Suite has the same 270° view, half rainforest and half ocean.
Is there a wheelchair-accessible room?
Yes. One Signature Bungalow has a roll-in shower, grab bars, a wide bathroom door and a step-free route from the accessible parking through reception.
Can a group book the whole hotel?
Yes. A full takeover of all 17 rooms sleeps up to 45 guests.
