Time for two in the rainforest

ECOTICA sits on about ten acres of rainforest, minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park. Mornings begin with birdsong and breakfast by the pool. Afternoons go as fast or as slow as you want them to. Evenings mean dinner under the trees and a quiet room waiting afterward.

Couples come here for honeymoons, anniversaries, engagements, or simply a trip together. There is no fixed package. You book the room you want, then add a massage, a special dinner or a day out, and we help you shape the days around it.

Rooms that suit couples

  • Signature Bungalow: a private bungalow set apart in the gardens, with a king bed and a porch of your own. Sleeps 2.

  • Premium Bungalow: the same privacy, plus a fully stocked kitchen for longer stays. Sleeps 2.

  • Deluxe King Suite: a king bed and a private balcony, a short walk from the pool. Sleeps up to 3.

  • Master Suite: up at canopy height, with a panoramic view, a living room and a full kitchen. Sleeps 2.

Spa, dinner and celebrations

Massages, dinners and small celebrations

Couples massage. At Jungle Spa, any massage on the menu can be booked for two, side by side, with the rainforest just outside. Body rituals and facials come in couples versions as well.

Dinner and cocktails. La Poza, our poolside restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, and we can set a table for two by the water on request. For a later, louder night, YOLO Social has cocktails, live music nights and a casino.

Celebrations. A private dinner for two, an engagement or anniversary with family, or a small wedding on our open-air rainforest deck: see private events and small weddings.

Our concierge books your days out with local operators we know and trust:

  • An ATV ride through the jungle
  • A catamaran or boat tour along the coast
  • Horseback riding

Honeymoon questions

For privacy, choose the Signature or Premium Bungalow. Both have bathrobes, and the Premium also has a ceiling fan. For space and a view, the Master Suite, with a living room and a full kitchen. The Deluxe King Suite has a king bed and a private balcony.

Yes, on request. We can set a table by the pool at La Poza, or find a quieter corner of the property for the two of you. Tell us your date and what you have in mind.

Yes. Every massage at Jungle Spa can be booked for two. Send the spa request form and we will confirm a time with you.

No. You book the room you want, then add what matters to you: flowers, a cake, a private dinner, spa time, tours. We help you put the pieces together.
