The Grand Bungalow is the most generous bungalow stay at ECOTICA: two private bungalows connected into a single wide retreat, with a fully equipped kitchenette on the Premium side. It is luxurious, spotlessly kept and entirely private, set inside our 10-acre private rainforest reserve.
Mornings begin with the canopy — toucans calling, branches shifting as squirrel monkeys and white-faced capuchins pass through, the distant chorus of a howler troop. The light arrives filtered and green, the air is warm, and the jungle feels close without ever intruding.
Two king beds and two futons make this a natural choice for a family, or for friends travelling together who appreciate space and quiet. Air-conditioning and a ceiling fan keep the air pleasant, the fully equipped kitchenette on the Premium side invites unhurried meals, and a large smart TV with cable, a coffee maker for early starts, a refrigerator and microwave, a safe, a desk, bathrobes, a hairdryer, an AM/FM radio with alarm clock and complimentary WiFi take care of everything else.
Beyond the door, ECOTICA sits on a wildlife corridor within its private reserve, where monkeys, sloths, toucans and scarlet macaws are often seen moving through the trees, both around the property and from the poolside. Breakfast is included and served at La POZA, beside the pool, from 6 to 10 am, and the day can continue with a treatment at the Jungle Spa, a swim, time in the gym, or dinner and drinks at YOLO Social.
Manuel Antonio National Park and the beaches of Manuel Antonio are close by, and our front desk arranges guided park walks, night hikes and boat trips. Free parking is available for guests arriving by car.
