The short answer: yes, Manuel Antonio is one of the best places in Costa Rica for families. Monkeys and sloths are easy to see, the park trails are short and mostly flat, there are calm beaches for swimming, and the drive from San José is manageable. How much is the national park for children?
Children 2 to 12 pay a reduced entrance, and under 2 are free. Tickets are sold online only; our park guide explains how to buy them.
Is the park stroller friendly?
The main trail is wide and fairly flat, but some side trails have steps. A carrier is easier for small children.
Can young children stay at ECOTICA?
